GROH Dwellings, Newman

Client: Quality Builders

Under contract from Quality Builders, Tribute Earthmoving completed the earthworks in preparation of the construction of 14 GROH dwellings in Newman, Western Australia.

Mia Mia House in the Desert, Newman

Client: Auzcorp

In 2007, Auzcorp successfully completed the $20 million resort-style hotel, Mia Mia House in the Desert. Incorporating 50 premium rooms, 120-seat restaurant, 150 seat conference centre and other ancillary services, the services provided by Tribute Earthmoving included:

  • civil works
  • extensive landscaping across the property

Kalgan’s Rest, Newman

Client: Tribute Group

In 2006 Tribute Earthmoving commenced the redevelopment of Kalgan’s Rest in Newman. A phased implementation program across three years has seen the park transformed into a superior supplier of accommodation and recreational facilities. Tribute Earthmoving has led the redevelopment through the supply of:

  • project planning, logistics and management
  • major civil works and site preparation
  • construction of 620 air-conditioned modular accommodation units (each containing bedding, work desk, fridge, Foxtel and lockable cupboards)
  • design and landscaping across 28 acres
  • construction of 400-capacity on-site diner, 50‐seat conference centre, gymnasium and recreation centre, commercial and guest laundries
  • installation of large carpark facilities with capacity to service cars and buses

Whaleback Village, Newman

Client: Tribute Group

In the early nineties Tribute Earthmoving commenced the redevelopment of Whaleback Village with the installation of the town’s first 100-man purpose-built camp for mining personnel. Since then, Tribute Earthmoving has managed numerous development projects at the site, including:

  • project planning, logistics and management
  • major civil works and site preparation for construction of 176 accommodation units
  • design, construction and landscaping of all external facilities, including camper’s kitchen, ablution blocks, swimming pool, BBQ facilities, commercial and guest laundry’s and onsite diner and kitchen

Beachfront Village, Port Hedland

Client: Auzcorp

The former DIAC Detention Centre in Port Hedland was transformed in 2008 with Tribute Earthmoving supplying earthmoving and landscaping services. Beachfront Village now boasts 368 motel suites and high quality dining facilities to service the resource sector and visitors to Port Hedland.
